DESCRIPTION

The DOC Rosso Conero was recognized in 1967 and subsequently amended in 2004 with the inclusion of Red Wine Conero Reserve DOCG. Comes from grapes grown exclusively on the ridges of Conero Mount, overlooking the Adriatic Sea. For Rosso Conero is used Montepulciano, which finds here its ideal habitat, in no less than 85% with the addition of a maximum of 15% Sangiovese.
The production area includes the region of Mount Conero and more specifically the municipalities of Ancona, Offagna, Camerano, Sirolo, Numana, part of Castelfidardo and Osimo: all located in the Province of Ancona and can be visited, if you travel along the famous road of Rosso Conero. Aromatic and very fruity on the palate are the main characteristics of the wine Red Conero.
