DESCRIPTION

The Municipality of Corinaldo has retrained a wide rural area abandoned by creating an ecological oasis in favour of environmental sustainability, a collection point created in a logistic position suitable to be easily reached by the citizens in order to dispose of all those materials that can not be collected at home, with the "door to door" system, for problems of quantity or type. The opening of the municipal collection centre of Corinaldo is an important step made in line with regional, national and community directions that promote recycling and the elimination, where possible, of the street bins destined to the undifferentiated.
The biogas plant installed at the consortium landfill gives a good contribution to the production of clean energy and helps to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
