DESCRIPTION

The Municipality of Serra de' Conti has fully accepting the European agro-environmental policies to develop cropping, livestock and forestry systems, that produce quality food, goods and services to consumers and are compatible with the protection of environmental resources.
The territory of Serra de’ Conti and Montecarotto has become a case study for the European project Slim (Social Learning for the Integrated Management and Sustainable Use of Water: social learning for the integrated management and sustainable use of water in scale of catch basin) funded by the European Community under the Fifth framework Programme, to which collaborates the interdisciplinary research group of the Polytechnic University of the Marche.
