DESCRIPTION

Two young friends of Rimini with a passion for beer and Amarcord, the famous film of the great director Federico Fellini, Oscar winner in 1975, that for Italians is the history of ancient tastes, brand and productive philosophy: from these ingredients were born, in nineties, the beers Amarcord. In the search for pure water that confers the beer a unique taste, the two entrepreneurs move the brewery in the village of Apecchio, no accident on the slopes of Monte Nerone, massive limestone and wildlife protected oasis which also supply the plant with mineral water Val di Meti, in the heart of the Apennines, where the climate favours the production of barley quality. Pure water and fine hops, tradition, craftsmanship and technology have made Amarcord craft beer the most popular and sold in Italy. A group of citizens, along with Amarcord and Tenute Collesi, another famed local brewery, in collaboration with the municipal administration, coordinated by the Association “Apecchio town of beer", are pursuing an ambitious project to elect a small village in the province of Pesaro and Urbino in International Capital of Craft Beer.
