DESCRIPTION

The province of Pesaro and Urbino is characterized by an area of extraordinary richness from the naturalistic point of view. From the sea to the mountains of the Apennines, the succession of the most varied landscapes: from the rocky shores and sandy beaches, to the hills, the ravines, forests and pastures, are a mosaic of great beauty that includes towns hamlets and countries rich in history and culture. There are three parks only in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, protected natural areas of outstanding environmental value, a unique natural heritage, extraordinarily preserved and managed.

Natural Park of San Bartolo Mountain, overlooking the sea, a stretch of cliff and rocky coast between Pesaro and Gabicce Mare that surprises with its magnificent views, is one of the few headlands on the Adriatic which with the yellow of gorse and its meadows green with breathtaking scenery looks the blue of the sea.
On Apennines you can find the Natural Interregional Park of Sasso Simone and Simoncello, in the heart of Montefeltro, where pines, oaks and centuries-old spruces melodiously climb up to the ruins of medieval fortifications.
State Natural Reserve Gorge of Furlo is an impressive canyon and a real treasure of flora and fauna where still reigns the eagle.
